One is just promo for exposure the other is literally making people listen to the song by making it play automatically after anything. Edited March 3, 2023 by Axelios
pika Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 #22 Youtube #24 iTunes #26 Apple Music -> 1.2 million increase on Spotify This is Sabrina levels of fraudulence. Mind you, Flowers was #1 across every platform possible for weeks and got claims that it was ‘Suspicious af bro, what is going on .’ Ariana and her history of playlisted success that fully relies on everyone else to bloat her stats. Ms. Togekiss Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 People on here drag female artists and Ed Sheeran for being “chart obsessed” when the actual obsessed one is The Weeknd, but he barely gets any hate. The double standards the hypocrisy
Aaron Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Ariana fans mysteriously avoiding the thread and clinging to “biggest remix debut ever!!1” as if it isn’t freefalling everywhere but Spotify where it’s being autoplay spammed
favorite crime Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Randomly gained a massive 1.3mil streams on a Thursday despite dropping below the original on all other platforms and people have noticed that since yesterday if you play any current English-language hit song Die For You is always first on autoplay.

Taylena Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Nothing about Spotify is legitimate nowadays. How do you think Abel reached 100M monthly listeners?

Unknown User Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Just Spotify trying to push his monthly listeners up to "record breaking" numbers. They like headlines like that because it makes Spotify look more relevant as an app

Delirious Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 The way I always had autoplay turned off but thought y'all were lying so I turned it back on and got the song 5 times in a row

Spotify doesn't get paid to do this but they do form a better relationship with a label because of this which is basically payola. I skipped the song 5 times already but it's still recommending it to me. The AI can't adapt so it's **** and forced down my throat until I give in
