I agree. This one sounds more authentic and emotional despite it being a demo. Taylor obviously only recorded her own vocals for “reference.” If she kept the song for herself she would’ve recorded even better takes.

I genuinely don't know if they're trolling or not 'cause how can they say not hear a clear difference? 

 

Anyway, it's funny to see the swifties are still so bothered over this one song because it's bigger than anything she's released since 2014.  It's time to let it go.

Taylor wrote the melody it on piano, I mean it's an EDM song so it's understandable the lyrics took a back seat to the melody and instrumental.

It sounds ok, emotionless at the beginning but the chorus sounds decent. Rihanna really elevated the song which truly wasn't that hard at all.
