Taylor’s is the superior version. It would’ve been amazing had they fully finished and polished it up more. There’s more emotion in certain parts as well. It has her signature all over it.

Like nobody can sing Taylor's songs like Taylor even Rih failed despite her talents in matching demos of other artist

lmfao so Rih did absolutely nothing original in the released version and the chorus is Taylor vocals

wow

I never see anyone coming for this now lol

It's proven fact now

This sounds so much fresh and more emotional than whatever we got.

I agree. This one sounds more authentic and emotional despite it being a demo. Taylor obviously only recorded her own vocals for “reference.” If she kept the song for herself she would’ve recorded even better takes.

Whoever is dragging this song, be it with Taylor or Rihanna's vocals, is tasteless. The beat is so good like c'mon, the build up :WAP:

If Taylor ends up re recording this as a piano ballad I will unstan :cm:

Are we shocked? lol This woman just gets demos and hums over the original. See "Diamonds."

this is basically a demo :isudumblmao: and rihanna kept taylor's vocals as the hook for a reason

They kept 2 or 3 ooh’s in the hook and whatever the reason was definitely had nothing to do with Rihanna’s vocal abilities… :rip:

She should've kept it, instead of doing charity for Rihanna. Her girly tone fits it way better.

They definitely used Taylor’s voice on Rihanna’s release. JLo/Ashanti teas

the production in the intro/bridge give major puta vibes

she kind of ate didn't she?

the way they kept the Taylor vocals :deadbanana4: even the demo ate the polished rih version :deadbanana4: we will never get a TV FTV because of her fallout with Calvin but goddamn this with a finalized production would be a complete serve

Why are y'all pretending Rihanna herself chose to keep some of Taylor's vocals? :skull:

I genuinely don't know if they're trolling or not 'cause how can they say not hear a clear difference? :gaycat6:

Anyway, it's funny to see the swifties are still so bothered over this one song because it's bigger than anything she's released since 2014. :rip: It's time to let it go.

i fear this would've smashed without Rihanna too, the fact that Taylor is hitting the notes :dies:

wasn't the original reputation album supposed to be tropical or something before she went with the reputation concept

This is basically the unseasoned and flavorless version of the track

This is an unfinished version of a song and Taylor still ATE :rip: The way this confirms the chorus vocals are almost SOLELY Taylor after years of Rihanna stans trying to claim the opposite too :deadbanana2: Another hit by your fave where she had ZERO creative input, yet you have the GALL to try and lash the creator of this hit for being unseasoned :bibliahh:

I've never wrapped my head around how this is a Taylor Swift song. It sounds nothing like her usual stuff and the lyrics are so boring. It's literally the same thing over and over.

What did Calvin Harris do exactly as well?? Did he and Taylor work on it together I don't understand?

Taylor wrote the melody it on piano, I mean it's an EDM song so it's understandable the lyrics took a back seat to the melody and instrumental.

Op: Still a bad song, I'm glad she gave it up.

Damn did they change the hook at all for Rihanna's version? Imagine needing Taylor of all people to hit high notes for you :rip:

Talentless

What high notes sis?

It sounds ok, emotionless at the beginning but the chorus sounds decent. Rihanna really elevated the song which truly wasn't that hard at all.
