BloodLuster Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 (edited) still can't get over how one of ATRL's fav bops (writing, composition and 80% of the vocal performance) was made by the basic white girl they love to drag. backfire of the decade LMFAOOO Edited March 2, 2023 by BloodLuster

RandomHooker Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Taylor Swift is **** but the Rihanna stans in here acting all bold as if your fave would have ever written a track like this one. The leech you have as fave literally depends on other people's talent to succeed.

That’s certainly an interesting way to frame her nearly non-existent musical output since Anti

FENTY. Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 No wonder Calvin flew over the ocean to get Rihanna’s vocals lol
Lille Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Good lord, Rihanna literally just copied every intonation and inflection in Taylor's voice Hopefully Calvin sees dollar signs and signs off for the recording for Reputation (TV).
1989 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Honestly I’ve never cared for this song, but I guess it’s cool to finally hear Taylor’s demo. I still do not care if she uses it as a vault track, though.

And the fact that they were that delusional and used to claim it wasn't Taylor's vocals in the background for months.

Literally low quality AI filtered acapella over the final instrumentation I was ready to report @Taylor fanboy for hyping this up because the vocals are definitely still demo quality, but it's still miles better than the version 1 demo beat. So I am willing to give a pass because it still SLAPS over the final version's instrumental.
Jude Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 (edited) Love Taylor but you are delusional if you think this is better than the final version. Those flat notes at the pre-chrous/chorus. Edited March 2, 2023 by Jude
Bubble Tea Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Thank god Rih released this. Taylor's is cute though! So different for her.
brenda-walsh Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 swifties thinking their fave is the best at everything

I’m BOPPING and this has been on repeat. Will add this on my reputation Spotify playlist. Both versions sound legit to me.
Bears01 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Rihanna’s version>>>>> This does not fit Taylor’s voice whatsoever. It’s grating to listen to

thetea Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 you can hear Taylor's vocals throughout the chorus. The thing is when people were saying they could hear Taylor on the song in 2016, I thought they were crazy but it all makes sense now.

Archetype Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 (edited) Ngl this sounds better with Taylor’s vocals (Version 2) than Rih’s. We knew Taylor wrote it, but the fact that she essentially recorded the entire song and Calvin slapped Rih’s vocals over her’s (and we can still hear Taylor’s vocals on parts) is just laaaazy.
