Rihanna: 5 albums in top 50 of BB200, why?

This is the part where ATRL pretends every halftime performer gets this kind of massive boost.

- Oh wait… she’s the singles artist tho. Her albums shouldn’t be charting at all :coffee2:

TTT deserves higher

so many bangers, I've been streaming it since the SB :jonny:

also no expectations were exceeded, it was pretty obvious for me that she would be charting

only delulus would think she isn't a force

that performance was still a bore tho :eli:

but ATRL told me that she is not an album artist :chick2:

This means she does ~79k weekly before now, wonder if we can approximate how much each album was generally getting.

No. She did 51K the previous week.

51K + 51K = +100%

51K + 91K = +179%

You should be asking why is TTT even there and not Rated R.

It's truly her most underrated album, TTT can stay in the trash :deadbanana4:

Because TTT is the bigger and better album. It has bigger hits, more hits, and is certified 3x Plat while the other is not :fan:

The 5 old folks from last year - I’m sorry but none of them are popular with the streaming generation :rip: Only Kendrick and Eminem stood a chance but Kendrick only had 3 albums out at the time and Eminem wasn’t gonna do much more damage than he already does

If i remember correctly eminem with 3 minutes on stage had 4 albums on the billboard 200.

none of them are popular with the streaming generation - Of course Eminem is not popular at all in the age of streaming, nothing :rip:

I don't know, instead of spewing so much hate worry about the harm to women that your adored Taylor has done by working with a sexual predator after campaigning for disadvantaged women, that's real harm.

TTT is a filler album, it's time to accept it and move on :fan:

.. I pointed out that Kendrick and Eminem are the exceptions to what I said, and when I said Em wasn’t gonna do much more damage than he already does it’s because he’s already one of the only rappers that’s been around over 20 years who consistently charts multiple albums on the BB200. maybe clean some of that vitriol for Taylor out of your ears and you’d process what I was trying to say :rip:

I didn’t spew any hate to anyone in my post I was just explaining why most half time performers didn’t see the same scale of a boost that Rihanna did. Taylor hasn’t done any real harm to anyone no matter how much you wish her 2 minute cameo in a film with 7 other A Listers in Hollywood did. Good try though.

Believe it or not she has done a lot of harm to women victims of sexual harassment and assault, if you don't understand the harm of whitewashing a sexual predator, especially when it comes from someone who has reported being harassed on the front page of the Times along with people assaulted by Harvey Westein better not say anything, but NEVER say it hasn't done harm

Whitewashing doesn’t mean what you think it means. Let’s start there.

Second of all, I have no idea why you’re making this thread about halftime performers about Taylor, who has never performed there. You have just completely diverted from the original topic at this point..

Third of all, “she has done a lot of harm to sexual assault victims” is a factually incorrect statement when, quite literally the only questionable thing she has done even related to victims of sexual assault is.. a 2 minute role in a 2 hour film. Which.. does not directly affect anyone, let’s be real, and if it does there are plenty of bigger fish to fry in that film alone.

But this isn’t even worth discussing in this thread, you just thought you had a “gotcha!” moment because you didn’t like something I said in my original post. Learn to debate without deflecting. Me being a fan of Taylor’s Music doesn’t mean I can’t have objective opinions and debates backed up by evidence. :gaycat6:
