I think the community overreact about the impact of heavy representations on netflix shows and stuff, i really dont see it having the negative impact that some of u think 

 

what is happening is this “freedom of speech” debate where people are tired of being political correct cuz of it “cancel culture” and that is setting them free to scream their terrible hate and prejudice against lgbt+ 

This is sad, but its more political than anything, its not just us that are suffering.

 

people r back shaming bodies, races… hard times. It will hopefully pass in some years, politics works in waves.

There is often a disconnent between the GP circle and the LGBT circle in terms of presentation and how each group expresses their views on certain issues, so I am not surprised there is a backlash and the gays are doing poorly in communicating with the GP on those topics and often talk snobish and like they are being a holier-than-thou smartass, just looking at some users in this very thread. Far-right wing extremists will always try to beat around the bush but I am not concerned over it as long as they are not near any authohtorian power. They are grasping at last straws right now but even moderate conservatives couldn't care less about the gays topic that the Christofascists are making moral panics about.

However, after non-binary “”became a thing”” i’ve seeing transphobia really increasing A LOT. Like if they were just confused… And this is something we have to kinda work on asap, stop spreading misInformation and educating people right, its 100% out of hand right now.
