Had they released it on a friday it would have a full tracking wweek and it would've wiped the floor with TQM
BabyBenzz Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 hopefully it serves longevity on the hot 100 as well

URBAN Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Being Colombian, I love both my girls! But being from Barranquilla, I root for Shakira a bit more. Can't deny that she really helped Karol secure this #1 debut on the Billboard 200 with the collab. LEGEND!
Hector Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Debuts at #1 in Spain & already certified Gold with 30K units in the first week Also debuts at #2 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 as well.

Wait, so Shakira has the #1 and #2 spot in Argentina?! Or was she knocked out of the top? Don't follow Argentina's Hot 100 much.

99sandthe2000s Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Billboard Hot 100: #7(new) TQG, @karolg & @shakira
Hector Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Second Hot 100 top 10 of the year and higher than #53 this year Karol G and Shakira’s “TQG” charges onto the Hot 100 at No. 7, with 29 million streams, 4.6 million in airplay audience and 7,000 sold. The song is from Karol G’s album Mañana Será Bonito, which debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making history as the first all-Spanish-language leader by a woman. The track is Karol G’s first Hot 100 top 10 and Shakira’s sixth – and second this year, after her and Bizarrap’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” debuted at its No. 9 peak in January, following her nearly 16-year absence from the region, since “Beautiful Liar,” with Beyoncé, rose to No. 3 in April 2007. “TQG” concurrently launches at No. 1 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, where it’s Karol G’s sixth leader, all since 2018, and fellow Colombian Shakira’s 13th, with her run having begun in 1998.
unclefloprry Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I really doubt TQG will surpass TUSA and Provenza as Karol's biggest hits, but I think it has a chance.
Ivan_brit Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 It’s a hit They better send ASAP this to radio… it will take ages for radio to play a full Spanish song but TQG has a chance

Biggest hit where exactly? It already outpeaked both "Provenza" and "TUSA" on the Hot 100 and Spotify. If you're referring to sales, chart longevity and certifications, obviously that will take time. However, I do see TGQ surpassing it in all areas. I even see it winning a Grammy.
