Do we have a full on chart of what all performances cost the last 10 years for example for the Brits including stays and other costs named that Beyoncé asked for? There have been various BRITS performances the past years with a multitude of productions, dancers, live bands etc. that probably all were paid for. people are outraged about the thought of 500.000 pounds, but it doesn't seem too much if you think about the fact that if this news was true, there had to be people flown in, production be paid for and set up etc. A lot of things got far more expensive. I mean ask any random tour/performance/event organiser and the prices for insurance on all fronts since covid have skyrocketed and that doesn't even include the inflation we are currently in.
