Dragonfly Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 the chorus seems a little weak right now but maybe it has earworm potential? the rest of it is cute though
Tyrion_LMG Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 A bop. Not very different from Screen Violence, but less dark. Loved it.
pavi Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 I like it! A bit repetitive, but definitely the CHVRCHES i like Do we know if this is a droplet or leading up to a new album?
omrimayo Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Huge fan of them but this is too repetitive in a way is annoying.
M.R. Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 This one sounds straight out of Love Is Dead which is their weakest album.
potent Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 It has their classic sound to it but that's it, doesn't bring anything new or that exciting for me. It's still a bop so I'll be playing it, I'm just afraid it'll get old quickly.
Robburro Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 most of the singles of Screen Violence are probably the worst songs I've ever heard and the album is my favourite thing ever..

Love is Dead sweetie… shockingly I’d say their second album is the weakest but I still like it. Over definitely needed a stronger chorus. Hoping for a grower!
kandicha Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 it’s cute but not strong enough to be a single more of an album track… but i could see this growing on me.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted February 24, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted February 24, 2023 I guess screen violence was a fluke.
Roger Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 It's cute, nothing impressive but that's always the case for their first singles.
FallenFroot Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Listened to "Every Open Eye" today. They used to have so much more esprit back then.
Scandalous Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 catchy enough song but not very memorable
Alfred Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 This is so good! yet another Oscar Holter produced bop. he's so good

Imaginary Friend Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 I really like the song and the video is cute too, my only complaint would be that it could fit right into Screen Violence, not that that's necessarily a bad thing 1 hour ago, RideOrDie said: to kickstart their major label journey Oh I didn't know they signed to a major label!

TrueBlood Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 It has Love Is Dead written all over it, is it an outtake from that album?
