Why are we shocked? WAP had 0 radio support and the only reason SFG is still charting is because of radio (which is the heaviest weighing factor on chart positions). Plus, one’s a pop song, the other a rap STAPLE! :clap3:

Wap is still the bigger and more known hit worldwide though

Knocking 11 faces hits out 1 week at a time :jonny5:

Radio is carrying SFG whereas WAP was decimating streaming for awhile after it was released. Is it even charting on AM or Spotify at this point? Keep it cute!

They were laughing too much so Nicki decided to keep it cute, drop this smash and remind everyone that she still has it in her to go complete berserk on y'all faves that run amok on the very path she paved :beatfreak:

its radio-friendly, so not surprising. Didn't it go top 5 on US radio overall?

SFG is a bop and a smash at the United States, don't get me wrong

But WAP is WAY more global, isn't SFG already out of Spotify's ww top 200?

Wow, WAP is the standard :clap3:

Weeks is literally the worst metric you can choose :rip:

Isnt wap diamond ? Lol

Already outlasted UP and now coming for WAP :clap3:

I mean, WAP spent 11 weeks in the Top 3 and has over a billion streams. SFG has 2 weeks in the Top 3 and 300m streams, so not sure how it "outdid" WAP in any dimension

WAP was a cultural reset whilst SFG is just a quick little hit

It's 7x platinum in the US but your point remains. That isn't convenient to the narrative they're trying to spin so naturally they didn't feel it necessary to include

How? It's N/A on Global Spotify and #175 (-55) in the US :deadbanana4:

Radio is keeping this afloat. It basically replaced Big Energy on Pop radio (which had replaced Planet Her’s presence.)

SFG started off strong but collapsed on streaming pretty quickly. Tomorrow 2 ended up outlasting:

Tomorrow 2 (18th week): ~50k
Super Freaky Girl (18th week): ~40k

WAP is bigger regardless of how many weeks SFG charts.

WAP was only popular because of the shock value, so's not surprising, but still very impressive for Nicki

OK, but this isn't overtly surprising, considering Glorilla is a new artist born in the streaming era and Nicki has been around for 12+ years...and SFG still even managed to outsell and garner more streams, and that's with Nicki not being a streaming artist.

Isn't the amount of weeks charting a bit.. bare to say it surpassed WAP's chart run? What are the positions of these songs during charting?

Only one spent 4 weeks at number 1, so we can start with that :coffee:

She’s 40 years old and over as you guys pointed out so why are y’all so mad SFG has more longevity on the hot 100?
