Just saw the Tiny Desk. The album would've been much better if the production was different. Lots of these songs sound much better with live / traditional R&B instrumentation. I think that is one of the key issues on this project. Over-production and too many harmonies kinda make some of these songs unlistenable. I hope her next album is minimalistic and less overproduced.
