P!nk Forever Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 The indefinite ranking of 2nd singles: 1. Who Knew (What other 2nd single that burned out real quick but rose like a Phoenix and catapulted P!nk back on track would be better? It clearly became one of her signature hits and is even loved among people who don‘t like P!nk at all) 2. Trustfall (This energydriven bop would deserve all the laurels P!nk had gone missing since 2017. It‘s so unusually out of the box and should become proof that she should do way more genre-bending experiments) 3. Try (Becoming another Top 10 hit Try was essentially the right 2nd single to do so with a perfect pop rock production, meaningful lyrics and an incredible video) 4. Sober (Hardly anything off of Funhouse would have done as well as Sober after So What‘s colossal chart run. The outro still remains iconic) 5. F**kin‘ Perfect (Who Knew‘s little sister did what she had to do and doubled her success on the charts) 6. Most Girls (This is R&B excellence with a dramatic tone and heavy riffs a la Mary J. Blige or Ashanti and worked out well as a 2nd single) 7. Don‘t Let Me Get Me (Just Like a Pill was perhaps the more superior pop rock single so I see why they chose to release this cute cute track following the hype of Party‘s success) 8. God Is A DJ (the original first single of Try This prior before Trouble was put out should have stood the test as a lead. It‘s giving Born This Way before Gaga even existed) 9. Beautiful Trauma (Nice lyrics and all but the lack of a ******* bridge or anything to level up this song is missing) 10. Can We Pretend (This mess of an era speaks for itself, dumb official single to begin with, better exchanged with Hey Why or Happy)

Braz Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 The fact that Can We Pretend was a single at all... The fact that Can We Pretend was included in a Pink album...

DLMGM was the song that turned me into a fan. I remember they did a commercial where old people would dress up as the artists and say quotes from the making the video. P!nk’s one was of DLMGM and it was very funny and I loved GTPS and LM so I gave it a go. Needless to say I fell in love with her and bought the album (well, my mom bought it for me, i was 11 lol). I never looked back <3 Get this smash on huge playlists I tell ya

Hiphopper Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Yes, it could definitely work in an acoustic version.
P!nk Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 So what about today’s streams? What about all the times we thought this song would smash? What about today’s streams? What about all the broken records that didn’t happen? Oh! What about today’s stream? What about all the plans we had, what a disaster! What about yesterday? What about the day after? What about today’s streams?

Askeroff Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) omg just hear it for the first time this is so damn good its sound directly like huge single from Robyns "Body Talk" this is what exactly i wanna hear from her not that awful first single Edited January 30, 2023 by Askeroff
Jeapy Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Love P!nk, but all I can hear when “Trustfall” plays is Eurovision 2021’s Ireland entry…
Arknex Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I've just revisited What About Us mv... First of all it brought me to tears. Haven't seen it in a while, it's perfect... I've watched Trustfall mv right after and it came to my mind that this would've been great second single during Beautiful Trauma era. It's continues vibe of the lead but on another dimension... Like some kind of a dark club mood. It would've been an instant hit and such a cohesive moment...

Braz Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 If we don't get the local Hot Hits playlists it's over again... Europe is interested in the song though.

pinktennisfreak Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Can We Pretend could be her worst singel. But, I hear it so often on radio.
