Fine Line is something new from Kesha and something new to me, it needs time to grow for me. But it's looking brighter than High Road.

Eat the Acid is love at first listen. Ahhhh

Yeah I definitely think eat the acid has more instant appeal so it’s smart they released them together because fine line definitely needs a few listens to properly get it

Blown away by the sound and the lyrics, the haunting vocals and the production are pure magic; I need to listen to them again in different circumstances in order to entirely enjoy them.

No only two songs have been released but she’s holding a bunch of album listening parties today so a bunch of fans have now heard the full album

It was only 1 party in LA with 75 people

They’re definitely not instant bops so it’s not going to be for everyone. She’s delivering art though, and I think it’ll pay off for her.

not what I expected at all but I like them!! I love the experimentation and how she is making literally what she feels like

Lyrically, this is the realest she's ever been

It's clear that this era isn't meant to be some smash era in terms of radio play and sales, I don't know why people would see the cover and title and think this was going to be similar to the dance pop of her earlier work. Given how poorly High Road was received, I find this sound to be incredibly refreshing for her and a good decision for her career.

These songs both have clear messages and great lyrics, so they definitely make sense as lead singles in terms of letting the listener get a glimpse into her current headspace and see more of her growth. I'm definitely hyped to hear more of this album! :jonny5:
