I've been listening to Praying a lot again and it's still such an incredible piece of art. The Grammys were so wrong for not giving her the award and instead give it to that chart obsessed gremlin and his terrible overplayed song.

If this album is well received I wonder if it will get some noms.

Same here. I have such nostalgic memories with Warrior, especially Wonderland.

gahhh same :emofish::heart2: Love into the Light too, that was my running through fields with my best friend song! Warrior leaking was also (from my recollection) the first time I ever lurked a thread on ATRL, back as a damn 15 year old

Last Goodbye is probably my fav at this point in time

I think Animal + Cannibal is my favourite era but Rainbow is my favourite album

Cannibal is AMAZING :msmarvel:

I wish she shoved a couple unreleased songs so it wouldve been released as an album instead. Animal is my least favorite Kesha album (even tho Stephen is definetly a guilty pleasure every now and then) but Cannibal surely took her electropop sound in a much better direction, hence why it doesnt sound as dated compared to Animal. It perfectly foreshadowed the pop cuts from Warrior.

Plus Sleazy and maybe the title track couldve been top 10 hits with proper single treatment.

Sick cover and title. Very intriguing. And a Rick Rubin co-produced album! :jonny:

Excited. Always rooting for her

The upcoming album has me streaming her entire catalogue and I still remember me and my bestie listening to Animal and talking about how good Dancing With Tears in My Eyes, Blind, Hungover etc. are and then going to school and seeing straight boys singing Take It Off :WAP:

This is honestly one of her best songs ever, her slower sad songs are so heartbreaking and magical. This along with Resentment, Last Goodbye, Wonderland :weeps:

Hearing the snippets, I'm super excited to hear what she's come up with

hmm, you know initially yes! but as a teen coming of age back in 2010, Kesha’s was the first unreleased discography I ever delved into, right when every track was leaking. what an exciting time! I loved Animal like a friend, Warrior too, but I felt the quirkiness under the surface and I was happily surprised by tracks like While You Were Sleeping and Lucky leaking, proving her emotional intelligence. stuff like Mr. Watson and Red Lipstick confirmed her humor displayed on Stephen and Dinosaur, proving how genuine she’s always been! her voice is so versatile, I think she can create tender electropop moments just as easily as she can create no f*cks given power pop. I see beauty in so many of her styles, she makes so many things feel genuine

this post is making me feel so emotional and reminded me of why I stanned her so hard as a teen back then, she's always so fearlessly genuine in every sentiment she's expressing even if it no fucks given!!! ugh my QUEEN

How is the buzz compared to high Road? I swear there was like no buzz at all.

Smart of her and her team to keep it simple and just show a controversial cover.

Pretty good, I would say (for her standards).

Her Instagram post hit 100k likes within 5 hours (130k now), this PopBase tweet is really impressive and she was trending on Twitter with almost 20k tweets as of recently.

Not massive numbers in absolute terms, but definitely good considering her abysmal social media presence.

I think this kind of reception is what they were hoping for when they released the High Road album trailer + Raising Hell in the same week, but it didn't materialize :skull:.
