youmustbeupgraded Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) I like the idea of her not really worrying about picking one lead single, making sure the album name is a song, or following super strict promo styles. seems like wants to showcase her art the way she sees it which is nice! BlackoutZone Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 The visuals, the narrative, the album itself... It's definitely very refreshing after High Road. I'd argue there actually is single material on the album, but that's definitely not Fine Line or Eat the Acid so it's just not the target

I kinda get it because aiming for a successful lead that carries the album is really a big gamble at this point and it totally backfired with High Road & Raising Hell, so I can see why they would try something different this time. It also makes sense to a degree because Kesha shifted from a singles artist to a bit more of an album artist in the general perception imo. yeah, maybe but i hope that she gets at least a sleeper this era, she deserves it
somuch4you Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 13 tracks She said that the album has some interludes, so I am not surprised that some tracks are shorter

It's hard to pick, I really love the opener and Eat the Acid, they are both haunting/mysterious. They should have been together on the tracklist, but oh well! Only Love Can Save Us Now is also a favorite for sure, it's the album's only truly upbeat moment, but it's grand, euphoric, with some fun, iconic lines. But for those still seeking Ke$ha there is also an experimental, quirky, glitchy, autotuned, electronic moment on the album.

Based on the snippets she posted, The Drama sounded like it would transition to an upbeat bop too so I’m quite excited for that too do you know if there are many leftovers from previous albums? I really hope it’s not a repeat of High Road…
