Damn I hate that this picture leaked :jonny2: Ruined the surprise for me especially if it's the album cover. I hope it's just for the single

OT: I really like it if it's the real thing. Definitely a little strange/uncomfy but that's the point.

You guys are missing the point. This is one situation where the models here didn’t need to be people of color and it kind of dampens the concept, assuming she is going for a hands-that-silence-you type message.

album has 13 tracks. according to DSPs (streaming databases) Fine Line is track 2 and Eat The Acid track 4.

But the hands aren't personalized. The point of the cover (the way I understand it) is the general feeling of her being gagged, not that someone in particular is gagging her.

Obviously, we all know who it is referring to, but that's not what the cover wants to show.

Besides, there are multiple hands with various different skin tones, so I don't understand why anyone would read a particular message into that.

I understand the sentiment, but they used a darker hand just add some contrast to the artwork or else it will look too monochromatic. I don’t think there is a deeper rationale behind this, it just looks better.

Thanks @sam.teas for the info

same amount of tracks as her best album :heart2: I really hope there’s some power pop on here in the vein of Let ‘Em Talk or Learn to Let Go

I can understand these takes totally, and definitely appreciate the input. I think it’s not *that* deep but I just wouldn’t want her to catch any heat for this, that’s all!

Assuming this is true and the album really comes out on May 19 already, it seems like the general approach of this era is to promote the album as a whole.

I kinda get it because aiming for a successful lead that carries the album is really a big gamble at this point and it totally backfired with High Road & Raising Hell, so I can see why they would try something different this time.

It also makes sense to a degree because Kesha shifted from a singles artist to a bit more of an album artist in the general perception imo.
