Fine Line was ******* amazing live. She also gave us the option to pick between Hymn and Rainbow thinking we would choose Hymn :gaycat7: So she settled on playing both

pls nobody would choose Hymn over literally anything lol

I really feel like the early 2010s are gonna be the next nostalgia trend. Nostalgia around her old music is growing. If she can somehow bring that cheekiness and attitude and iconicness from A+C but make it more current and mature, I feel like the stars could align for a mini comeback.

Edit: I know i've said these sentiments like 50 times but I just really feel it in my waters that thats going to be the approach with the next era. Hopefully they've learned from High Road, what NOT to do.

Yes, that's why I posted here. Was hoping someone on here was at the show last night!

Quite literally two of her worst songs (at least on Rainbow). I can’t with her.

she really should consider doing secret sessions with diehard fans to help curate her setlists and album tracklists :jonny3:

Well she also doesn’t know the lyrics to Rainbow she butchered it on the cruise when fans asked for it and she even mentioned that she doesn’t know the lyrics before she performed it.

I would just rather have her perform Boots instead :ducky:

Boots absolutely deserves to be on the set list, and Kinky from high road, plus the songs I’ve previously mentioned from Gag order.

Casual fans don’t usually have a problem going to a show and not knowing half the songs, as long as all the hits get played. I wish she would lean into that more.

I guess she saw Taylor and Madonna doing greatest hits tours and ran with it :gaycat7:

I think for every single/hit song there should be one album track with it.

Like if there's TiK ToK, YOIMD and Backstabber there should be Kiss N Tell, DWTIME, etc

Boots is an incredibly difficult song to perform live — the cadence, tempo, and octave switches really don’t make it ideal for touring. To really deliver a good vocal, she’d basically have to stand center stage for breath control, and her shows are all about energy and movement (and talent!!) so it makes sense she’d leave it off the set list like she did on the Rainbow tour.

justice for Kinky tho. And The Drama and Peace & Quiet. And lowkey Resentment :rip:

Id honestly take her lip syncing if that’s what it takes to get her to perform it live

Edit: I just listened to the song again, the verses would be easy to pull out live. The chorus would be a struggle but if she had a backing track doing the main vocals and her just adding in 'nothing but your boots' here and there, and then the bridge is basically spoken word, so I'm not sure why it would be so difficult to perform live?
