The DC show is sold out anyways, there's only VIP tickets left.

OT: Oh wow, new shows just appeared on her website :jonny:. Tickets go on sale in 22 hours.

I’m glad she’s working with Rick again. I feel like he really brought out the best in her lyric wise and vocally so I’m excited to see how that translates onto some more pop sounding tracks.

Just announced a date in my city but tbh I listened to the album once and then never again. Might go if tickets are cheap to listen to songs off of any other album she does :toofunny2:

you can never fully say you dislike something if youve only tried it once.

at least three times is a good indicator of if you like it or not.

(this counts for everything new, entertainment, food, etc),

Drag me

Wasn’t even mad at her exploring this kind of sound, just nothing pulled me back in after the first album listen. But I supposeeeee you might be right

I still listen to this album all the time, it doesn't get old. Aging like fine wine :smitten:

It definitely needs more than one listen if you are more of a casual fan, but if you cbf I recommend revisiting Too Far Gone, Peace and Quiet and Happy

I didn't like Gag Order upon first listen but a few listens later I am obsessed. Maybe her best album.

I feel like I'll enjoy this album more in the cold, brittle winter months.

Still sitting pretty next to Rainbow as her best alberm.

Rainbow is still my favorite of hers. I don't know why it just hits so differently and perfectly with a mix of fun, but serious, while showing growth and maturity. Spaceships her best song too

i mean, Praying, Spaceship, Boots, etc all are career highlights

but a lot of the album (Bastards, Let 'Em Talk, Hymn, Finding You, Boogie Feet, Godzilla, Old Flames) all either were subpar upon arrival (looking at Godzilla, Finding You and Old Flames) or aged not as well as the three career highlights i mentioned earlier.

Yeah I don’t really revisit Rainbow that much, just because sonically it’s not what I’ve been feeling lately but I can’t deny it’s such a solid album/body of work.
