If Kesha were to do a film, it should be something with minimum dialogue but a strong plot.

something like Run Lola Run :jonny: I can see it

Off-topic, but this is a German movie and we watched this in art class in 10th grade.

I really feel like the nostalgia for her old sound is growing. Maybe she bit the bullet by releasing something like High Road too early. Regardless, it does seem like going back to pop for her next record is the smartest move for her.

Also all jokes aside about everyone's favourite song off Gag Order (cause we all know you pay mine (Too Far Gone) dust anyway), its kind of amazing that everyone seems to have a different fave it goes to show that she really served quality and versatility on the record. Every song is at least an 8/10, most are 9-10/10's. The only song that really doesn't do it for me is Eat the Assid.

Haha!

The topic in class was "movie", so it was used as a textbook example for cinematic tools.

I definitely see Kesha writing/composing a musical in the future. I'm kind of surprised she hasn't already but I know its definitely something she is interested in doing at some point.

I’m ready for her to have her ‘this is my least personal album of my career’ moment and just release an album full of club bangers

Same, the nostalgia is real. Also the comments/quotes below this tweet and all her TikToks in that vein are nothing but positive.

In hindsight, I definitely agree. Her discography would look more compelling with High Road and Gag Order being swapped.

On the other hand, the desire for Ke$ha at that time was so big that it's also possible Gag Order wouldn't have been as well received back then as it is now.

This!!! One of the best things about her albums is that she is so versatile that there is always something for everyone to enjoy.

It served its purpose, but it's also among the bottom third of the album for me.

I don't think that's possible because most of the Animal unreleased were recorded before she even started working with Luke, so probably not even the settlement could have given her the rights, I assume.

well if you think about it. most of what was released on Animal was from before she was signed to Luke at all (and probably before they met too) :giraffe:

I don't think so? There are some unreleased songs that go back as far as like 2003 (iirc), but all the released Animal tracks were either recorded with David Sonenberg, so between 2005-2008, or with Luke. I don't think there is any information regarding a pre-2005 released Animal track.

yes i was referring to the 2005-2008 sessions.

plus all the songs i listed were (at least speculated to be) from 2007-2009

do we even have the recording dates for any of the released songs at all?

Oh, okay. She has been signed to Luke since 2005 though, that's why I thought you meant before that.
