Kirby Kirbs Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Actually very surprised & happy to see that she’s speaking of Animal highly rather consistently throughout interviews of this era. Iconic debut album
CHL0RINE Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 These visualizers are good and I do like them, they're simple but rather impactful in their imagery . . . But I do hope we get a proper music video soon 3
Ramooon Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 I think it suits the concept and is different. For this dark era, I think this is fine. Also, music videos cost money, lots of money, so it makes sense
TomTom Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 "I think it's a classic album, time will prove it. And if people are gonna sleep on it, that's on them". PREACH!

perfectillusion204 Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Eat the Acid was the original album title. She thought people would associate it with drugs/party scene etc.

I will say the album cover/title made way less impact than I thought it would. I guess everyone’s more or less forgotten about all the legal woes. Hopefully the trial gives it some free promo
JoeAg Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I would be lying if I said I could do peace and quiet loving me, is running into a house that's burning down, baby honestly, make it out alive and you'll get the best of me SO GET INTO IT OR GET THE F*CK OUT 2
CHL0RINE Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Every time she does an interview she mentions the same story for what spurred on Eat The Acid, and I just got to wonder . . . What type of health professional says that a clear mental breakdown was actually just an ego death spiritual moment? The Zach Sang interview has been the best so far out of all the recent interviews this era, she goes so much deeper into the albums themes and where she's at in life. It's nice to see her so calm and peaceful too

ALΞX Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I’m so over the visualizer trend in 2022-2023. Why are people so absolutely lazy they can’t make videos anymore? I know she said she did one but…. Really?

I know she said she did one but…. Really? It’s a waste of money, not a lot of people are watching them. I don’t think any music video could have captured the emotions like these visualisers did. That’s kind of the whole point of the era is that everything is minimal compared to how maximilist her aesthetic used to be. Edited June 8, 2023 by bearman

I‘d say it definitely caught the attention of everyone who is following her and most of the reviews and interviews picked it up too in some way, but they didn’t really make an effort to “sell“ the story to the GP which also applies to the album as a whole.

Catch22 Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I think Happy is in my top 3 Kesha's songs rn along with Last Goodbye & Spaceship. Visualizer did things to me
