I need to listen to it. I love that Kesha is going through her introspective/glam rock/experimental/freedom phase but I do miss a bit of POPsha. Rainbow was her best post-Dr. Puke album because it still had some fun pop tracks but some great songs in other genres/feels. High Road had a few good ones (resentment is one of them) but the mastering just wasn’t great (and there were definitely a few songs that could’ve been cut). I hope there’s a ‘middle ground’ to be found on Gag Order.

Crazy. It doesn’t feel like much more of a flop than high road, which still debuted top 10.

i guess that had a proper lead though + bundles but damn….

Is this gonna debut at least in the top 20 on billboard 200?

I agree with everything you said. There are a few really fun pop songs on this record but lots of experimental midtempos/slower tracks. What I love about this album is that it’s brand new territory for her sonically and lyrically. She’s showing that she can do a lot of different styles and do them well.

Honestly, no. She didn’t even have vinyls ready this week which would have certainly helped quite a bit, I’d imagine.

I want a vinyl so bad

I preordered 2 green ones. It’s me being nice for not buying a copy of High Road. :heart2:

They're coming out in June right? I'm sure that the experience of Gag Order on vinyl is fantastic!

I managed to find the album at my local Barnes and Nobles it was the only copy they had. I had asked if they sold the majority of them and the woman said they only received 1 copy. Wow how is possible? I smell sabotage.

Yeah I don't even have a record player but I'm so getting the vinyl, I just wish the green one wasn't a store exclusive cause I like that one more but I'm not paying 20$ for shipping

Listening to All I Need Is You after reading its about her cat almost passing away just made me sob and i had to go cuddle my cats.

I love this album very much. There is so much to be found in the music and the lyrics. She deserves the world.

Honestly, since this is her last album on Luke's label and possibly RCA, I feel like they aren't really shipping many physical copies.

I mean, she didn't even do legit signed copies :rip: She did some fake "signed" DIGITAL copies which.. what a rip-off, lmao. SO yeah. Kesha prob doesn't care either because she knows this album is now the end of her contract and she is finally free. She did this album for herself, I think.
