Phew :jonnycat: I truly did not expert her to outdo both Taylor AND Adele.

They were very unserious back then too, but that's ATRL for you, always on the wrong side of history

This song had a Thursday debut hence the 2nd day drop on a Friday is softer than usual.

but Shakira ended Adele’s 2nd day record was not on my 2023 bingo card. Congrats to the Latina queen :clap3:

Seems like after all you don't really need backing from those "biggest music markets" in the world this site always yaps about to break records when you're an actual global legend

It's not like Bizzarap is featured on vocals  (unlike her other recent collaborations i.e. Rauw Alejandro, Anuel AA, Black Eyed Peas, Ozuna) + she wrote the lyrics and actually works with her producers and doesn't just throw her vocals onto anything. Sure, his name has helped but she's been doing really good recently (especially for someone that released their 1st album 32 years ago).

OT: She did THAT! This is what GLOBAL looks like.

This song is already pop'n at the gay clubs here in West Hollywood/LA - the video/song were played at 3 different places I went to last night & Spanish radio has it on repeat.

And that’s without the US totally onboard relative to how it’s dominating LATAM:deadbanana4:

How many collaborations do you know with this kind of numbers? :deadbanana4:  It's a top 5 debut in Spotify history.

The downplaying... :biblio:
