I don't know, I think every new franchise has the potential to serve an iconic season (for better or for worse). It happened with AS and UK vs The World, I can see GAS having a cute moment of its own too. I guess we'll find out!

AS2 and UKvsTW are both iconic imho, for very different reasons. UK2 and ES2 as well (+ PH1, FR2 and IT2 but to a lesser extent).

UKvTW is like the most unhinged fever dream ever. the first episode is one of the best ever, the insane rusical, iconic snatch game, the eliminations... genuinely how can someone dislike it

Exactly, but I'm wondering do the queens know the cast upfront? ofcourse the filler queens don't but the girls that can make a demand.

 

If I knew the cast would be stacked I would likely decline to save face.

I didn't think of that but yeah, it makes the most sense. They already did something similar for UKvsTW S2 so I can see WOW following the same path.

I think it lines up with AS9 finale happening around that time too. Plus the Olympics too.

Last October. FYI it was filmed in Colombia where the Brazil, Mexico and Germany franchises were filmed so it'll be a new set.
