Honestly I have mixed thoughts. On one hand I want SMG to succeed because I’ve loved her since forever but on the other hand I really didn’t like the show… I don’t think this was the best comeback vehicule for her, something like a drama mini series with an ensemble cast or a (blumhouse 🙊) horror film would’ve been a better move imo… 

 

But I’d like the show to be renewed so she can prove the demand for her is still there…

yeah i love her but i'm not interested in this at all. she can start off doing guest starring appearances and supporting roles to rebuild her resume. idk if she's like adimant about returning to the genre for film work in fear of being type cast but that can't be the case because she agreed to this so idk but yeah ghosthouse pictures, atomic monster, blumhouse are all right there. she could've easily had a deal and been more active on screen. she's a genre staple and has that pull where she can pick and choose or even be straight up offered roles if the people are a fan of her.

y'all realize there is a possible Hollywood strike, that's what pushing back the renewal cause numbers wise, it did good from what we got for Paramount+

we finally finished it with my bf, the finale was pretty amazing, shame they kept all the explosive action for the finale tho it's understandable. the show is laughable but i'm enjoying SMG and she has a cool chemitry with the silver bullets daddy. it's deifnitely a guilty pleasure. I'd not be mad if it got a second season

it started really slow but I liked it towards the end

it's not groundbreaking but it's entertaining

hopefully a 2nd season would be darker and more adult

not even as if it was childish but some sequences were beyond stupid (like when the wolf was chasing connor with that broken leg), it was so contrived we had to laugh at that.. but it definitely picked up, some things have actually been pretty cool, SMG smacking the cop into the pile of bodies  

 

did we actually find out who was the big bad wolf and the person on the phone (were the 1 person)?

Unfortunately, she doesn't pick/get offered solid projects. Wolf Pack was ok, average first season so I would understand why Paramount + wouldn't renew it although it's not like the show was super expensive to produce so maybe the writing wasn't solid enough for Season 2? 

 

The only way Sarah can make a triumphant return to TV has to be via HBO or through a Buffy related project at this point

Was really rooting for a White Lotus season three appearance. But I'd love for her to do what Kate Winslet has done: limited series for HBO / Max streaming.
