this makes even more sense to the haters as to why Taylor tried to compete and snatch that one last week at #1 last week. She knew it was likely going to be her last chance (unless she releases physicals of the 3AM version which apparently wont be happening). Damn...a mega album only spending 5 weeks feels weird. 5 weeks is tons but by how huge it was it should have at least matched Folklore's 8 weeks tbh :'(

In the past 5 years, how many albums spent at least 5 weeks at #1? The list is beyond low

Are you really calling Taylor Swift talentless when SZA herself is not even a talented vocalist?

I'm a fan of both and lbr they both aren't great singers. They have a beautiful tone tho and that's what makes them popular

Only these:

Dangerous - 10 weeks

The Trash (UVST) - 14 weeks

Encanto (OST) - 9 weeks

30 - 6 weeks

Sour - 5 weeks

Certified Loverboy - 5 weeks

Folklore - 8 weeks

Hollywood's Bleeding - 5 weeks

Scorpion - 5 weeks

So yeah, it's not an easy feature.

Surprised Scorpion only spent 5 weeks at #1 and Beerbongs & Bentleys less than that. 2018 was a really, really strong year for albums. I get the feeling 2023 will be the most competitive year for albums since 2018. Do not expect many long running #1’s on the BB 200.
