Shame that era was cut short before it even began, but, again, the GP didn't want to welcome a change in sound from Ashlee. Plus, her pregnancy also stopped things from moving forward. yeah she should've toured afterwards and work on a new record but i feel like she let the backlash get to her and that e series with evan confirmed she legit got performance anxiety after the whole lip synch debacle. such a shame because in my opinion she was much more interesting and had alot more to offer than jessica and had more solid bodies of work. Boys Ragdoll OT: Perched for this. outta my head boys rule breaker hot stuff what could've been of that era if she didn't get pregnant. she was serving gwen sonically on her last album. i loved that direction for her. it was so fresh. Sky Engineer Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 We also need I am me and bittersweet world on vinyl. Is can't have it all on streaming? It's her best song
PhoebeBuffay Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 i want pop/rock music from ashlee!! Bittersweet World sound was good but she has more appeal to poprock!

I mean I'm sure it affected her confidence but she still toured succesfully with I Am Me and also did a small club tour around the time of Bittersweet World's world (and if I remember correctly she was gonna do another proper BW tour too but then she got pregnant as y'all said + the album underperformed so who knows if she'd would've done it, both Ashlee and the label barely seemed to care that era) I think it was that album not doing as well and her starting a family at the same time that cut her "popstar career" short and nothing else as she still dabbled in acting and other ventures (including the Chicago runs she did on Broadway and the West End) after that but never seemed as ambitious/determined anymore and stayed more private/family-oriented ever since Edited January 23, 2023 by okgo

charmed23 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Love her music. I jammed so hard to Shadow, La La, Boyfriend, L.O.V.E, Invisible, Outta My Head. Her BEST song is I'm Out though.
loveisdead9582 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 I would love to hear something from her but I don’t think she’d actually commit to it in a serious enough way that she’d be promoted by any record label or outlet. Shame because I enjoyed a lot of her music. Lala, little miss obsessive, L.O.V.E, etc are favorites of mine.
JoeAg Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 looove her was always more drawn to her voice/music/persona than to Jessica's tbh
charmed23 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 wtf, just realize Sorry is not on Spotify?! A perfect pop rock song. sometimes I really don't understand labels and singers not releasing their best songs
