You made a topic about "well know song".

So you should clarify what you mean. For me well know song is something very popular in every format and for every kind of listeners, not only a niche or something like that.

 

Everyone knows a Beyoncè, Madonna and so on song. If a lot people says I don't know an H.E.R song maybe she really doesn't have WELL know songs for every kind of listeners.

From the certifications it appears that 95% of the streams are from North America - two countries, so that still sounds pretty local to me. Many countries issue certificates automatically, although I don't know how it works in South Africa, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

Well those are two of the biggest hits in modern times, very select few artists have hits on that level. So if that's the bar we're using for "hit", then the OP's question covers nearly every artist ever
