ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted January 7, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted January 7, 2023 The kid has obvious issues. Hope they can get enough mental care that they won’t be a danger to society when they become an adult. The parents need to be charged with attempted murder.

MonsterJohn Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 The next time he's gonna shoot his parents and they have no one to blame it on

Or do they just mimic how they see dad wave his gun around at mom when he’s yelling? (how ton of accidental/“accidental” domestic shootings happen) Horribly tragic way to raise a child.
Mr.Link Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I would hope this menace wouldn’t see light of day outside ever again but since he’s 6 years old they will probably send him to therapy, fine his parents and call it a day
Oktober Knight Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Considering the parents were dumb enough to show their kid how to use a gun and either gave him one to carry OR were stupid enough to leave it left out where he has access to it, this is not surprising. This is Merica

He needs and deserves therapy, while whoever gave him/allowed him to acquire the gun should be imprisoned. Calling a six-year-old a menace to society is gravely insulting. Children so young are not capable of forming criminal intent. This menace attempted to kill somebody’s mother, somebody’s daughter, somebody’s wife and friend. The six year old is not “capable of forming criminal intent” but he sure could fire a murder weapon at someone (I for one wouldn’t even know how).
Harmonizer Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 To think there are some loonies that want teachers to be armed in the classroom. Ban guns ffs
Kamil24 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 so what if the teacher was armed? Would people expect them to shoot the 6 year old?
Edit0rz Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Why are the parents not in jail yet? The blame is 100% on them And they should go to prison for attempted murder and the child needs to be in child protective services and hopefully find a better family. Your kid does not end up like that without some shitty parenting.
gagacasanova Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Not in my state I have so many questions...

Children so young are not capable of forming criminal intent. Sorry, but all of this is wrong. That child willingly took a gun to school, pointed it at his/her teacher and fired. Not only did he/she know how to be careful not to pull the trigger and shooting himself/herself or someone else... but guns are heavy! and there's recoil when pulling the trigger. That child was TAUGHT to use a gun, and did something malevolent. OT: Charge the parents and give them life sentences... and throw the kid in juvenile prison.

Cesar Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 IMO the parents / anyone around him needs to be looked into. this is more of representation of who hes surrounded by than the boy himself the fact that the kid even had easy access to a gun in the first place speaks volumes

Normally I would agree but at 6 years old?!?!? Thats what first grade? 10 years old is the absolute youngest any child should face serious LEGAL consequence and that should only be if proven to be premeditated and egregious, even then tried as adult should be reserved for mid-teens at most. This incident sounds like failed parenting and lax gun laws. If the parent does not end up in jail it is an injustice to the child and teacher.
flower moon Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 people actually trying to fully blame the child
worldwide angel Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 itching to punish a six year old maybe we need to put a stop to some of these tv shows
