Wow, even more impressive that BM is doing this well with only the album version being counted. Why hasn't Gaga's team released the viral version to streaming??

You keep embarrassing yourself in this thread over your obsession with Taylor's success. Now for some reason you think free Youtube streams from a song playing on the background of a TV show should count for Billboard but not actual $1.29 purchases of the song and its remixes - also claiming Taylor's fans are mass buying without any sort of proof and comparing her with BTS' fake hits from before Billboard changed the rules. Anti-Hero is coming back to #1 without any of the remixes you keep using as excuse for the success of the song. What now?

It peaked at #2 and was blocked week after week from hitting #1 by different songs yet it ended up selling more than every song that blocked it.

besaid Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Bloody Mary is one of the biggest songs in the world and it's still not eligible to make a dent on this rigged chart?

It's not charting in the top 100 of Apple Music US and is at #79 on US Spotify. How much of a dent are you expecting?

My guess would've been that music consumption would be up rather than down (people spending more of the day at home vs. office, continued growth of streaming subscribers).

Bloody Mary is is not making any dent in the US market. I doubt it’s even top 200 on Apple Music so why are we expecting to chart high again?
Holiest Dreams Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 7 hours ago, Cryptique said: not 126points for No.10, the US still hasnt fully recovered from Lockdown Effect I know 126 points seems disappointing out of context, but that’s not why the points are so low. It’s a combination of rule / formula changes which have lowered points all around the board (the rules about UGC streams are one huge example), and the fact that music consumption is spreading out over a bigger number of songs as opposed to just top 40 music. And this was always going to be the natural move with streaming and the massive number of songs at people’s fingertips.
