Normal in the kpop industry considering more groups than not have a member around that age. People always use aespa and BP all having adults at debut as a norm when its actually the opposite

SNSD, Bigbang, Shinee, FX, NMIXX, 2NE1, TWICE, IVE, Red Velvet ( with Yeri), TXT, BTS, IZONE, STAYC+ more had 16 year old maknaes or even multiple members that age at debut
