This year has been such a good redemption year for aespa after how horribly S&M managed them last year. Most of us had counted them out, but they proved us all wrong and came back strong, and 2024 will be a big year for them as well!

And I agree. The music consistency this year from them was overall better then last, and they have grown a lot overseas and still a force domestic. Thier Next step should be to continue building thier brand and image.

the aespa girls look great in the context of their group but when you put them next to people with relatively normal proportions they really give uncanny valley

And do more Japanese promo in general! Like it's fine that S&M are trynna push aespa in America etc., but they also need to push them in Japan aka the 2nd  biggest music market in the world, where they have a way bigger chance to succeed. SM needs to start prioritize Japan more like they did in their early days, cause America isn't really working for them.

 

I hope SM doesn't make aespa wait for 7 years to debut in Japan, similar to what happened with NCT Dream, who despite debuting in 2016, only debuted in Japan this year
