My biggest nitpick with VCHA is that they should be marketed to teens and tweens but JYP is marketing them to koreaboos. Putting them on kpop playlists instead of kids/teen pop music playlists.

They are Koreaboos. Most of them are Stray Kids fans and one of them watches that Youtuber who recaps Kpop news, Angela or Angelique or something. It's so sad.

Doesn't mean the music they make is for koreaboos. Putting them on K-pop playlists is a waste of money. They are better off going in kids/general pop playlists and performing at US talk shows.

the fact that Nayeoncé succeeded despite finally getting her solo years after the group’s peak in Korea tells you all you need to know about her power and the IT girl potential that there was if the timing was paid attention to. 

+ sullyoon, she has a lot of potential, but JYP is not doing a single thing with her.

The only company that got it right* in promoting a group (being extremely active i mean) and more than one members simultaneously was MBK with T-ARA... (jiyeon, eunjung and hyomin were almost equally active and popular)  the fact that the only example i can think of is ONLY ONE group means that is not that easy... JYP cant do that (for whatever reason) and instead of repeating the atrocious story of Miss A they dont over promote one member and GOOD cause the Miss A situation was unfair for everybody (the girls, the fans, the world of music).

 

*i am not saying they were good at it, i mean look how it turned out, i am saying that they managed to do it

** Well i guess SNSD too but thats kind of a given and not so much because of the company efforts
