I think that there is a strong possibility that they will do. I saw they already got rid of him in some pre-recorded material when he was active.

That is a bad sign.

SM is gonna do what theyre gonna do regardless I fear

 

if the comeback is successful then they'll think they won the battle and pleased the knetz by putting him on hiatus

if the comeback flops they'll think they need to double down to appease the knetz by kicking him out

I think the comeback will be successful, they're riding a wave of momentum. Not sure if its just a single or what but I hope if Seunghan still has a chance at coming  back that they hold off on an album/mini until he can participate

But they need to release something less... let's say, experimental.

I kind of don't like how idols are looking more and more uncanny these days, even very young ones. Like, it's hard to find people who genuinely look human and it must eff with not only their sense of self but fans' sense of self too. But it also just makes everything feel a bit robotic and stilted. Which I get is how Korea likes it, but it's like damn, put the humanity back in Kpop please from top down. You shouldn't be on your fifth face before you hit 23.
