will be ignoring the kai vs baekhyun discussion cause both are my kings that i love very much

 

regarding the quality of their solos, they share the #1 spot for me. though i have to say BH is a bit more consistent when it comes to albums

 

kyungsoo could join them as well but i need a third album to make my decision cause expectation was a decline in quality when you compare it to the excellency that was empathy

This whole album is perfection 

i didn’t expect his solo to be such an ethereal stargazing type of sound but he surprised me, probably my most fave EXO solo album , Grey Suit is also good but I’m still more drawn to his debut mini

not the biggest fan of the title but the mini was great  especially decanting

 

i love the debut mini as well

The song could have done better digitally but rarely for an SM release, it seems she got to make the album she actually wanted to make, which I loved for her.

 

You can really hear her personality and input on the songs, she wrote the lyrics to Dead Man Runnin' all by herself and even in the album booklet it has her artwork and ideas literally in it. An artist all round

I agree the album sales were good, I just think she deserved better digitals since those are more reflective of how the song itself is taking to people while albums is fandom power. It was really good imo and deserved more praise and success with GP/nonfans. I'm happy she was able to make the music she wants and I hope she can do another one like this in the future, I just wish it got an equal amount of appreciation and numbers for its quality and artistry
