You’re missing the point entirely. Boy groups thrive off of a small niche of super dedicated fans who bulk buy and use Stationhead to manipulate streaming numbers whereas girl groups thrive off of appealing to the general public. I’m not using Korea to state that it is the end-all, be-all for music markets - I’m just pointing out that they’re the only market in the entire world that weeds out fraudulent streams and mass fanbase streams. 4th Gen boy groups literally don’t exist outside of their dedicated fanbases.
 

Does ENHYPEN have a larger fanbase than STAYC? Yes. Is ENHYPEN known outside of that fanbase? No. Does ENHYPEN have a single song that is known by a member of the GP? No. Does ENHYPEN have a song known by K-pop fans outside of their fanbase? No. Girl groups don’t have the luxury to be so irrelevant to the GP because they have to sell music. It’s called privilege that ENHYPEN, with 0 hits and 0 GP appeal, can outsell STAYC, with four hits and plenty of GP appeal.

- THE BOYZ are kinda nugu now and are below everyone in this list

Uhm, just because you have zero knowledge about ENHYPEN and other bgs, does not mean other people including non-fans have zero knowledge about bgs as well. I can promise you that Kpop fans in general know more about songs like Drunk-Dazed, Fever, Bite Me from ENHYPEN than songs like Teddy Bear, Bubble, ASAP etc. from STAYC
