Don’t understand why companies are so obese with debuting little girls anyway

like, I get that the clock ticks on boygroups before they have to go off and play soldier but there’s no such countdown for girlgroups

let them live

tbh I question the motives of parents who send their children off to be idols, especially the ones that send them overseas and then basically never see them again (for example Enhypen Ni-ki didn’t see his parents in person from age 14-17)

and apparently that Chiquita one also has a brother who is a child idol too?

absolutely not. For one, ZB1 only has one underage member and I’ve posted several times in the past week alone how he should be protected and not be forced or coerced into doing things that are inappropriate for his age. I’ve also called out fans for asking him inappropriate questions.

just log off sis, this is not the topic you want to start on with me of all people.

This is what YG came up with for the natural successor of the biggest K-pop girl group of all time? A fuckin disaster. At least O.O was attention grabbing in addition to being a hot mess. The girls deserved better than this 2015'd mess.

HYBE has really left the former big 3 in the absolute dust in the last 2 years. I say that as a committed sheep.

These idols, plus queen Kahi, who debuted at age 29, should show the public that an older age doesn't matter if you have the talents and qualities to be a star.

It's unfortunate that Korea still sees older women as lower or not worth it, when they can have a lot to offer.

This is one area where China is ahead. The show "Sisters Who Make Waves" (which Jessica, Fei, Jia and Amber have participated in) is to celebrate women over 30 and to give them a new chance to refresh their careers to the public. And it is hugely successful with very high ratings. Much more than anything similar, seen in Korea.

I'm sorry but :lmao:they couldn't even pull off the YG formula for their previous GGs what makes you think they can do songs like this? like the level of talent and sophistication this two songs has can never be replicated :sorry:

Korean straight men. They'll move on to the next ggs once they no longer the hot  young stuff, we all see that cycle everytime

So it's better to appeal to female gaze, they'll guarantee loyalty and longevity ex: Girls' Generation :cm:

Batter Up is terrible at first listen, but maybe it’ll grow on me

My main girls Pharita and Haram (Rami) ate and that’s all that matters

Rora and Asa shocked me in a good way, because I didn’t play that much attention at them during their evaluation, but wow. I can say they are a good addition to the group

I didn’t see much Ruka, I think she only appeared during the 2nd Verse Rap. Chiquita is cute, I mean she’s the maknae and all, she can act as the temporary center while Ahyeon is absent

some of these new people finally get an ATRL account after watching us through the windows from outside since the Obama administration and think they're hot shit

Maybe the reason I like Batter Up is because I do not care one iota about YG or anything they do and I had absolutely ZERO expectations and don't know anything about the members so I heard it and my only impression was "ooh, this song is nice!"

Are they keeping up with the current reigning groups, though? Not even close :deadbanana:

GGs rely a lot on ahjussi fans upon their debut. Sad but true.

And these creepy older guys won't root for girls that are around their same age. (1) They feel intimidated by women of same age but more successful than they are. (2) They are lowkey pedo.

That's why RV and Mamamoo had mainly girl fans not boy fans

They are still no Taeyeon nor they have the vocal line SNSD has lmao. No one is acting The Boys or I Got a God as some Beyoncé level. This songs were  just perfectly crafted for SNSD

NMIXX tried to have their own I Got A

God/Next Level and they are bunch of talented girls, we all see the results :lmao:

nice try but no singer is better TECHNICALLY than Taeyeon in kpop :lmao:

Rami is better singer than any other vocal line in SNSD especially during their teens except for Taeyeon again of course :lmao:

No, you will not do Jessica plus Seohyun and even Tiffany and Sunny like that. Not to mention there are many examples of them singing very well whilst full live.

BAEMON should’ve debut with “Shut Down” :eli:

And the narrative behind the song is that they are claiming to ‘shut down’ the competition among 5th Gen Groups and how they are gonna ‘shut down’ their big sister’s by replacing them (to create faux drama to amplify the hype, akin to the Blackjacks vs. Blinks drama during BP’s debut :fan:)

Again no one is saying Taeyeon is the  technical better singer in Kpop, you made that up :lmao:

I said vocal line, they had like what 2? wasn't you a Scone at some point. SNSD's signature sound doesn't only relies on Taeyeon but it's their good vocal harmony as a group, can baemon even do that?

The way you're setting up this girls so bad :lmao:
