Drama promotions should have been longer, the song is still peaking which is why it's winning a music show now + chart still rising.

Not YG using the same D4 song formula he used for Blackpink since D4 was a smash in 2018 for his new girlgroup in 2023..... 

 

People were tired of hearing D4 since Kill this Love. Blackpink was able to switch it up, but for Babymonster YG just lazily falls back on the formula giving absolutely nothing else to distinguish this new gg.

 

The mv was lazy and low budget. The girls were pretty but obviously very young with adult styling and that was creepy. But worst of all the song is probably the worst debut song any YG artist has ever had. And by far the worst debut song of the 4th/5th generation and yes that includes NMIXX's O.O. O.O was a mess, but at least they were trying to do or try SOMETHING with that song.

 

Batter up tells me absolutely nothing about these girls. Ahyeon was right to run.

It's genuinely ridiculous how short promotions are these days It's not just about the encores either but how much it can stunt the song's growth. Hate SM

 

I think they should have released Jingle Bell Rock while doing longer Drama promotions and done a special stage. It would be cute, festive, and good for both songs!

YG is such a mess. We're entering 2024, they still think it's the 2010's, and they desperately need a new creative team

 

Nothing against Babymonster. They're just a bunch of children being dealt an awful song and concept
