Girlie r u implying BP didn't have organic hype? Anyone into kpop knew of their debut because 2NE1 were organic legends. All the cool asian girls loved 2NE1 and thus BP profited by debuted after 2NE1 hadn't been active for three years. BABYMONSTER simply can't relate lol, BP is at the peak of their careers right now.

Lyre music group (the "Iced Coffee" producers) said that the song was created with an american artist that didnt end up using it for her album, and then was offered (and on hold) for twice then wheein and then to SM that bought it for red velvet since last year, I wonder if it was considered and even recorded for birthday, or the A&R just get demos for an eventual comeback even if its not planned at that moment

Oh wow; turns out most of them left and went to re-debut elsewhere once Ahyeon joined at a smooth 11. YG snatching most these trainees up fresh from elementary school is so unsettling. It looks like he was trying to have a whole separate group debut right after BM but we see how that’s panning out so far
