Regarding Blackpink situation I wonder what's keeping the members (if they havent renewed) from saying they left the company, unless there is a signed agreement that they can't talk about it until YG does but i doubt it.

 

But if lets say Lisa is signing with another company they would want to announce they signed her as soon as the deal is done. The whole situation is weird

2NE1 was long, funny enough when Minzy & her father announced that she left YG, YG posted a whole thing saying she didn't leave yet she was still negociating her contract.

2NE1 contracts ended in May 2016 which was the time Minzy immediately left, but the actual disband announcement wasn't till November 2016.

 

SNSD I remember, it was SM who revealed some members hadn't yet renewed in August 2017, then the announcement that 3 members left came in October 2017. But the group never disbanded.

 

If YG is smart, they will avoid disbanding BP and copy SM's strategy.

thats sorta what they've done with Bigbang... a soft disbandment if you will, f(x) style.

 

At this point none of the members are still at YG and Taeyang is the only one with any association thru The Black Label
