the performances are elevating the song alot, it may surpass Savage as my favorite title by them soon I fear. I hope they sing live this week on the music shows.

Well Blackpink didn’t make a comeback this year but both Jennie and Jisoo debuted higher than the others 3rd gen gg comeback.

If Babymonster fails then it's over for YG

The way the report was like “lol contract discussions are still TBA, ttyl” truly the YG way to delay until the last minute. If it ain’t this week, it’s after the Baemon debut

very true! that’s why I don’t think blinks need to worry about them leaving YG - they’re too big to flop solo

the contracts expired over 3 months ago. they had years to prepare for this. the negotiations are never going to end. yg is waiting until the members values drop. they want babymonster numbers to be huge to have the upper hand. blackpink will forever be in a purgatory state.

What is interesting is that with the exception of the Columbia rumors we don’t know which local or western company made an offer to the girls. No name of companies leaked like in some previous case (most recently in Kpop the ex Izone girls and Sakura being approached by HYBE). Does it mean that they still haven’t signed a new deal with a new company?

Oh yeah! If they leave I really hope that they can get a creative team with connections and ressources behind them.

If everything went smoothly with the contract renewal they'd be screaming it from the rooftops. At this point they're trying to figure out how to break the news without causing too much financial upset.

Rip the bandaid off, deelichis.

There could be a huge legal battle brewing if it is found out that YG is withholding information from shareholders that materially affects the value of the company. Part of their responsibility as a publicly traded company is to protect their shareholders assets and disclose anything that could cause financial hardship to the organization.
