Partnering w overwatch was an excellent idea tbh. More Korean companies should take note, that’s how you do a western debut/cross over. They opened themselves to a whole new demographic instead of the usual kpop crowd. I browse the overwatch reddit sometimes and opinions are pretty positive which is good lol.

Yeah she have the Korean market, but I want her and the Pinks to have big type of promotions globally and music videos with budget even if they leave YG

nmess really lucked out with that brief time melon had that recent release thing because I don’t think it would’ve done what it did otherwise 

 

Party O Clock and Roller Coaster deserved better though, their first unironically enjoyable bops for me

She doesn’t need a big company but one with connections and ressources.
Jini’s company is nugu but she managed to bag an Amine collab, so it’s not impossible 
Jennie is smart so I trust her she will not mess up.

Yeah I mean people (this thread included) complain about bgs “not being upto par with ggs”, but then ignore genuine TALENT and QUALITY  like Seventeen. Make it make sense. 
 

I mean the least they could do is keep their mouth shut and stop further exposing themselves as ignorant 

 

also I’d argue svt has more public appeal outside of their fanbase than most bgs in kpop (except the likes of BTS, EXO ofc). They still have charted hits in Korea and had their biggest hit this year. So their vocalists and dancers being so underrated is even weirder to me. I think it’s mostly to do with the size of the group. 13 members is way too much for most people to even entertain the thought of checking them out individually. So it’s impressive that some of them still gained individual popularity outside of the group’s mega fandom. 
 

and yeah, MISAMO’s creative direction is chef’s kiss, and the fact that all 3 of them are breathtakingly beautiful and elegant further elevates their trio moments. We stan gorgeous WOMEN in this house!

Luck and a bit of virality I think. Their first win encore got good reception and I also remember a fan making Sullyoon cry (in a bad way lol) around this time that also went viral. 
 

Also not denying the chart or whatever, but shouldn’t have other groups have benefited from this? Why is it only NMIXX
