in all honesty I doubt Blackpink will outright disband. They'll probably pull a "soft disbandment" like Bigbang or SNSD have been doing where some members renew and some don't and they eventually just fall off the radar

aespa Drama album review: 

 

1. Drama - The song is alright i guess, but It's my least favorite title track from them 

 

2. Trick or Treak - a little bit forgettable 

 

3. Don't Blink - cute song, but idk if I will listen to it 

4. Hot Air Balloon - Now this song The chorus I never expected aespa doing kidz bop and despite the song being a little messy, I like it, and it's my favorite song in the album and is the biggest standout for obvious reasons 

 

5. YOLO - I like this song and it has nostalgic feeling 

 

6. You - a ballad I guess 

 

Overall this album is their weakest so far, and would've worked better if it was merged together with the MY WORLD album with both mini albums becoming 1 studio album instead, which was the original plan back in February. I feel like they have wasted this year by spreading those songs that they performed at their concert almost a year ago throughout the year, when they should've released all those songs in February alone instead. Fans have been waiting all year for them to release all the songs, so that they could finally move on to new songs instead. Like if they had released all songs in february, they could've released the English studio album now instead, cause they are kinda behind in terms of releases. 

 

aespa have been so crazy mismanaged these past 2 years, like don't get me started on the 2022 fiasco either, with only having 1 comeback and being almost N/A the entire year. This was particularly challenging as it coincided with the emergence of several new 4th gen girl groups dominating the scene, causing aespa to lag behind. I remember back in 2021 when I was a hardcore MY, I thought they were going to become so much bigger. (They are still big today, but you get what I mean)

Believe it or not, kpop idols don't always get perfect nose jobs. Sometimes their nose still has character, like how Sana had had a nose job but she still has a signature hump in her nasal bridge. So it's definitely like that in SM of all companies, he got s nose job that's just a little imperfect.

I'm ready & willing to admit that Wonbin's beautiful face has been touched by Dr. Kim in some places (his best work yet) but his nose was not one of them.

 

You'd think as an Enhypen stan you'd be able to detect a nose job from a mile away

I really think the nose bump is what gives Sana the most gorgeous nose in kpop. With how far above average a lot of kpop idols are + unnatural surgeries, small "imperfections" (I actually find nose bumps attractive, I'm talking conventional beauty standards) keep idols from looking uncanny valley and complete their faces better. I think there needs to be a balance of human to the insane visuals for someone to still be attractive. It's why I struggled to understand why people like Eunwoo so much for a while, his face is a little too perfect for me

Wonbin is gorgeous because he has small imperfections like his non-cookie cutter nose and his slightly imperfect teeth/bunny smile.

 

It humanizes him a bit and gives him a charm that "perfect" faces simply do not have.
