Give a pay increase to whoever has been cracking the whip on them in rehearsals like they’re going to war. Their synchronization is crazy this comeback.

Honestly feels like this is the first cohesive choreo they’ve had before.

This is their most "cohesive" era performance wise!!!!!

Apparently it's the same choreographers + SM's whatever **** they were eating for telling the girls to "dance individually" and all this robotic choreos for the previous eras.

Now we got to see them as an actual unit :bird:

Everything about aespa’s comeback is great except the music TBH. Visuals are stunning, choreo got better, vocals were always there.

Kind of agreed tbh. Drama isn't bad or anything but it's pretty much just SM pastiche. It's the first comeback of theirs that sounds like they just picked elements out from their past songs and put them together. Still an okay listen but not new or interesting.

I found the b-sides almost completely unlistenable, though. Just random demos.

I’m kinda obsessed with aespa mini actually. I like it more than MY WORLD but Spicy is still my fave single by them.
I can totally see this 2 minis were actually the full album. If you put all the songs together it sounds very aespa and cohesive. I’ve been repeating it all day and I’m not tired of it

What concerns me about aespa is that SM didn't make any announcements about pre-orders at all, this time around.

For Girls and MY WORLD, they made announcements after 1 week of pre-orders and then again on the days of the comebacks. Obviously there have been issues with the album production this time. I still hope it should be as high a seller as the previous two albums, but it might take a little longer to get there.

But the Spotify numbers have been great for them and the music and performances have been on point. They have been working so hard this year.

Stop caring about numbers and stats so much and just enjoy the fact that girls are getting bigger and better. We got 2 comebacks and multiple soundtrack songs. We've been fed accordingly.

also does anyone realize that SM stopped pushing this whole Kwangya thing on the company as a whole? love to see it (hope i’m not jinxing it)

it should belong to aespa only

Hope this means that they aborted the Naevis solo artist idea and that they cancel Mave and starting taking their demos for themselves

It kinda faded with LSM leaving I think. He was going to push and expand it even harder with all that tree planting stuff.

But now that he and all his associates are pretty much gone from the company, it's going in a new direction. They kinda dropped SMCU for now too, since the last episode ended on that cliffhanger with BoA...yet we haven't heard anything about it since :rip:

Good they should keep it that way. The concept was so convoluted anyways. Way too much to digest and sell organically to the public. Just have their aesthetic be kpop girl group from and of the future. With their AI counterparts just being accessories to help sell them as a brand. Keep their looks and sound cyberpunk and keep serving kwant.

I hope that tree planting song gets leaked one day

I'm DYING to know how it sounded just for the kii's

I'm good. Just dying for them to work with Raye, MNEK and in general other writers and producers. It'd be an ultimate gag if the girls got the chance to work with Zedd (Clarity), Alan Walker (Alone),  Flume (Never Be Like You), Disclosure (Latch) Tiesto (The Motto), Martin Garrix (Scared To Be Lonely) and Alesso (Heroes) would sound great with the futuristic cyberpunk lane.

Are the rumors true of them having their full English length debut album dropping Q1 next year? I'd kill to have something like

1. New Aespa Song

2. Karina Solo

3. New Aespa Song

4. NingNingSolo

5. New Aespa Song

6. Giselle Solo

7. New Aespa Song

8. Winter Solo

9. New Aespa Song

It has to be 9 songs minimum and outside of their solo debuts has to be all new material please and thank you

These companies are notorious for fumbling the bag so I wouldn’t get my hopes up

although it seems like they have different people managing Riize because they haven’t misstepped yet, sending positive vibes

Red/orange hair is her color hands down.

Karina and Giselle need to stay jet black.

Ning Ning also pulled off the orange hair color really well she should go back to that as well. Having the group split between 2 redheads and 2 brunettes would lowkey be iconic.

So do you want them to stick to their sound then yes or no? If they depart their faceless kpop fodder or sellouts. If they cater it's their same old same old netizens can be so fickle I swear

I can't wait for their full length debut album next year. With the way that we're getting so much new music I'd be down to see them on tour again to perform it.

I disagree I can see SM meshing their full length debut with their group album that way they're introduced as both a unit and individually. It'd be a smart business move.

The last thing we need is blackfish allegations especially after she got reprimanded for saying the n word in a song. Light colors don't do her or her features any favors whatsoever. Jet black hair with shego side swipe bangs are it for her. When will she get that.
