What is the logic behind comparing a group with 5.9B total Spotify streams with another group with 2.9B using one song?

Well, SKZ's bsides being more streamed than NCT's title, I think we can see who's making listenable songs

you need to "Beat It"

that boy Michael Jackson "Bad"

an neoui "Billie Jean"i anya

don't you "Leave Me Alone"
hajiman aemaehan baneung nan wonhae "Black Or White"
pogi mothae naui "Man In the Mirror"

"why You Wanna Trip On Me"
neon neomu jitgutji
boy, you make me "Scream"
neoege wae ireoji
hagin neoui "Love" jeongmal "Never Felt So Good"
geugeon ama jjarithada mothae watching the "Thriller"

if you get it, you get it and if you don't, you are just simply missing out.

Slay Slay's rap is on the same level of camp as fromis_9's "sangsang sok nan Ariana Geurande, nuga bol ttaen eomeo jyae tto wae geureondae" in FUN!

both classics, both smashes.

Why are we comparing Red Velvet stats to Stray Kids in the first place when it's well known to everyone in kpop that girlgroups and boygroups have completely different sets of criteria for what is considered success?

It's like comparing apples & oranges.

While NCT do release a lot of "noise" music, they are able to make it listenable

It's time for people to find out about it, I guess. Cause not even their fans are liking it enough.

No but for real, if it's so listenable then why the **** no one is listening

It's okay you guys don't like the songs but is so funny how hard yall try to convince the world (and yourself) that people don't listen to skz

Idk, like I said before, I don't know why RV stans like to go for stray kids over nothing, just don't make sense, idk if it's just cuz they were beated by twice and bp pr whatever. But if they started we can't do nothing

That's why I prefer to discuss objective stats and facts that I can rationalize about. I've never seen the point of discussing about a subjetive opinion that hold about the same power as mine. You just go nowhere.

I can't be bothered to scroll back to find out where this argument started but I can say with almost 100% certainty that it was because Ms Pluta came for Red Velvet, not the other way around

someone please confirm y/n

It's so funny how NCT stans have this superiority complex over SKZ especially when both NCT and SKZ are literally in the same boat, in terms of some people hating their music for being too "noisy". But the difference between the both groups is that SKZ managed to become way more successful with their noise music, hence why they are the 2nd most streamed bg after BTS.

Btw, did you listen to JK's album? it was better than I thought it would

spacer.png

I didn't yet!

I love 'Seven', If the songs are as good, I will enjoy.

But I have the impression I won't like it as much as D-Day and Indigo. I always prefered their rap line's style since the solo songs on their group albums.

That's fine and dandy but boygroup and girlgroup stats are not compatible comparisons. They just aren't.

We know people are listening. The music is still bad.

It’s like when the same 10 people would stand in the cold to listen to Trump give a speech every now and then. You need a serotonin boost that bad?

Stop trying to blame me for everything and trying to set me up, you weirdo, you should've known by now that I never attack other groups unprovoked.

It was those 2 who started it all:

Like? I see NCT stans consistently dragging them as much as the GG stans and It's really curious.

If I had this energy... I forget NCT exists most of time (like the rest of K-pop community who don't even bother listening to their comeback once).

Any SM stan and superiority complex on the same sentence is pleonasm basically

SKZ have no fault if all the push SM did on NCT resulted in nothing

I agree with you and I wouldn't start something like that. I was only joking Taylor would block SKZ and suddenly a bunch of users started to drag them back to back.

They are streaming .. that's for sure, but are they listening?

Fun fact: Stray Kidz are almost entirely fanbase driven on streaming. Here’s their numbers on Circle, a chart that weeds out fanbase streaming:

S-Class: 51,710,289 (#34, 15 weeks)

Case 143: 25,532,952 (#69, 8 weeks)

No Easy: 15,470,939 (#33, 3 weeks)

Maniac: 14,942,210 (#29, 3 weeks)

Wolfgang: 5,225,293 (#138, 2 weeks)

Christmas EveL: 3,626,623 (#114, 1 week)

Winter Falls: 2,605,967 (#151, 1 week)

Now let’s look at just one Red Velvet song.

Psycho: 794,142,664 (#2, 70 weeks)

The girls trying to drag Red Velvet over streaming success when their faves are literally just living off of fanbase streams. :deadbanana:
