Wonbin and friends have given us no less than three high-quality singles over the past 2 months with solid concepts, talent, charisma and visuals out the wazoo, and a non-pretentious authenticity that hasn’t been touched since 2nd gen.

Red Velvet are the third most played K-pop girl group ever. And they did it with no preferential treatment and virtually no playlisting. If I was a Stray I’d be mad at RV, too, because they’re serving concept of the year while the Stray Catz look like they just wondered on the set of “Baddie” for their teasers.

Since we are touching this subject,  can't believe we have 5 days until the comeback and we haven't heard anything about the title track yet. 

 

I hope we get the Mash Up tomorrow at least. Can't wait to hear what they did with Cubeatz.

If they cared so much about their craft then why was 90% of the last album just old demos that they had previously decided weren't good enough to be released?

 

I feel like 3Racha as a unit has hit a creative wall and the only way to get around it is to hand full control over to Han Jisung

Have in mine most of K-ATRL favorite groups don't hold a pen to write or have the skillset to compose, arrange or even driving into recording engineering, instruments or digital editing. So what they receive in money from their quality songs are penny. Let alone If the fans don't care enough to listen, they barely can make money from their amazing discography. A pity, I'd say. 

 

Imagine possessing the technical skills to do all that, yet still making terrible music. Back to the trainee room.

bae I'm not mad about RV cuz I simply don't Carr about them, that's the point  you're the one here being bitchin about a group that have nothing to do with your faves

yeah, they are the 3rd most cuz they were basically the one of the 3 only ggs until yesterday, but couldn't even manage to grow outside Korea, not even in Japan, so congrats on the concept of the year, I hope people listen  to the song this time

Stamp On It release was a disaster (even though I personally liked the music), so I would be surprised if they come back any time soon. 

 

The supergroup concept seemed to be a LSM thing, so maybe it is over now that he is gone. SuperM seems to have been quietly shelved too for now. 

 

Though, I would like to see GOT again. If not GOT The Beat, then a new unit to give other SM female idols a chance for more activities.

About the demos, I's literally what every producer do, except they make their music with the members in mind and It's not a random demo that went through the table of several western artists and even K-pop soloists and groups until being recorded and released 3 years later by the group we listen the song from. 

 

But what you said about they thinking It's not good enough is objectively untrue. You might dislike and I respect It, but the members were extremely excited about releasing 5-STAR songs, especifically. In a way I didn't see them in ages.

Listen Mr. Worst Takes on KTRL, I have literally stated multiple times that I'm not the biggest fan of S-Class, but that doesn't mean I don't like their music overall? This literally just proves that I'm not biased unlike you RV stans who are forcing yourselves to like every awful RV song

You saying it based on nothing, the only tracks that were from previous sessions were FNF that Chan e Felix did back 2019 and didn't finish, and the other is Hall of Fame for Maxident, besides that they never said that others songs were old demos
