and SM will make 10 comebacks of NCT per year meanwhile sheeps here will cry screaming they hate Red Velvet or Aespa
giphy.gif

We had a VERY messy drought during SM's messy breakup era but SM had to keep funding these NCT comebacks somehow so now we get aespa content so fast it's hard to keep up with.

NCT Seoul and NCT Jeju Island are coming next year

Hopefully we will not see any posts complaining about the push while they lack hits.

The point went right over your head. aespa has already had an enormous impact and influence and left the biggest mark on the culture out of their entire generation. Even their "flop" era dominated kpop discussion not just on here but everywhere around the world. Everything they do is huge because they're LEADERS.

Seems like you’re the only fanbase who still don’t want to accept that Newjeans is the leader of their generation, already left the biggest mark not only in their generation but accross all the generations and are the closet to SNSD and BP cultural impact

Please, not when 90% of the thread was lining up to call aespa "fraud" when they got 1 million pre-orders last year.

I should know, I had to multiquote it all when the sales did actually come true  :dies:

And it’s still doesn’t change the fact that the SM Stan are the one who always brought sajaegi against IVE :ace:.

JYP A&R's immediate reaction to Next Level's success made them rush out a girl group where the main concept was making songs that switch up halfway and it backfired horribly. Just because your perception of popularity relies on being entirely numerical doesn't mean that aespa haven't had an observable impact on the industry they work in and have other groups and companies chasing after the same success.

First I never said that they didn’t have impact. But I would never compare aespa impact to SNDS be serious.

No one will take you seriously when you confidently say that they will have a bigger music legacy than IVE, when no one can predict the future and especially when IVE for now have plenty of popular songs and 2 popular idols!

Also, if you want to use Nmixx you can, but this same group like most of the whole Kpop is now following the same sound, strategy and aesthetic of the new popular group :dies:. It lasted 2 eras. Congratulations I guess, but everyone moved on, perhaps it’s time for you to do the same :cm:

I'm a newjeans fan. They're up there but they haven't peaked yet and aren't even close to realizing their potential. I still believe their peak is going to make BTS and SNSD look indie. The only My I know of that don't live for newjeans are Eternium and Pluto and Pluto hardly counts as a My or a user.

NCT needs to be ban in all the faces of the earth, sorry for their stans here.

Aespa and soon to be RIIZE can at least back up their sales with hits and quality

If sales and touring matter the most (which is indeed true), then why does majority of the KTRL constantly drag my fave Stray Kittens for flopping in Korea :sosad:

I agree with sheeps :clap3: tour and physicals sales are what matter
I hope they can understand now why SM  push NCT more than any female act

We shouldn’t underestimate endorsements ,especially solo CFs. Thats where idols earn the most money since they don’t need to divide the money between the members.

Even if they hasn’t peaked yet, the marks they left are already bigger than anything Aespa did.

NCT 127 is already NCT Soul though, since the number "127" is the longitude number of Soul

Nah! The difference it’s that we aren’t delusional like you. Everyone accepted that NJ are the leader of their generation except yall

I mean NJ are currently hopping on the lane Aespa has been doing since like 2020

so I'm not sure what mark they are offering so far more than the group they are supposedly bigger with

inb4 NJ Billboard and Spotify11!

Because Stays keep pitting their favs against groups that are more popular in the real world. The groups those comparisons are made over ALSO have huge sales and tours.

Their label is known for sajaegi and back when charts were more transparent their acts would have their peak hours from 2-5am with people in their 40s-50s. IVE is huge but if you went off their digitals/streams they'd be as big/bigger than NewJeans and aespa when other metrics don't come close.

For example: there are b-tier groups with better tour attendance than IVE, their Japanese sales despite having 2 separate releases are barely over their peers with no japanese physicals out or even Japanese distribution for their Korean albums. There's never any hard proof with any fraud claims bc it's obviously illegal but in foreign markets were sajaegiship has less power, IVE's charting ability falls off a cliff. This is despite IVE having 2 of the defining global kpop hits of 4th gen and tons of global appeal(esp for the Japanese market) too.

In the real world Stray Kids' latest Korean song has over 40m more streams than Spicy despite being released a month later
