I typically tend to go for which ever I heard first but both versions are good in this case. Yes, it’s very Disney but it’s cute; I just wish we got the single aesthetics for another, bigger release.

It's been longer than an entire kpop contract term since Rihanna's last album and she's still under her contract. Billie will be nearly 30 by the time she gets done with the contract her parents signed for her as a little girl. We ALL have seen the abuse that the US entertainment industry(which is considered the global standard) has subjected women like Britney to. 

 

It's time to take these racist platitudes about kpop for what they are and throw them in the trash and stop bringing them up every time we lose an argument. Even undebuted trainees have legal protections and have had those protections for YEARS.

True, but the Girls era was planned horribly in general. Illusion was the song that should have got a music/performance video after it started to become a hit, but SM did nothing. 

 

LTS is definitely on the "cute" side (and was probably a teaser for their REAL WORLD aesthetic) but the girls pulled it off sonically anyway.

It's true, it's a situation that many Chinese idols have to face and it's a huge challenge, because it usually means a choice between maintaining a K-Pop career vs. getting blacklisted from their home country. It's not surprising that 99% of Chinese idols would want to avoid being blacklisted in their home country. 

 

Victoria's situation was very unfortunate, but what I don't get is why she/SM didn't play it the way Lay did (who was in an almost identical situation) and email in her parts for an album/music video from China. 

 

At least then, f(x) could have more realistically had a comeback after 4 Walls, even if Victoria wasn't physically there for the promotions in Korea.
