I'm curious about jennie and lisa as soloists. Sadly YG is very unoriginal and all their songs as soloists under YG sounded the same, so it is going to be interesing now that they don't have to release the typical yg stuff. They can have their own sound now. Sadly Rosé has the voice that i like the most, but I don't know if she will be able to release something original like AKMU (probably the only original act from that company) or if she is going to be another cliche YG artist.

Despite BTS ruining their discography after dynamite, I admire how all their members have a very distinct sound and vibe. I know kpop is very manufactured, but at least you know bts members were actually involved in their stuff. So maybe, we will see blackpink members show their true artistry now.

So Vcha is going to be in division three along with TWICE and JYP himself it seems. Surprised NMixx isn’t a D3 group.

Wait BP members left YG?

  • Division 1 - 2PM, Stray Kids, NiziU

  • Division 2 - Itzy

  • Division 3 - Twice, JYP

  • Studio J - Day6, XDinary Heroes, Bernard Park

  • SQU4D - Nmixx

Its the internal team managing the debut. Truth be told it makes a huge difference in quality and quantity of promotions.

are we getting a new thread title to celebrate Vcha’s hot debut on music bank today? :gaycat2:

Honestly KTRL, do you see VCHA being successful? I feel quite negative about it. Like the ages, concept and lack of diversity feels like they were doing this with a kpop lens too much and I feel sorry for the girls.

The only people streaming/buying this will be other international kpop fans that want to be part of VCHA2 to meet and date Stray Kids

For there to be VCHA2, VCHA has to be a hit

So maybe depending on how delulu i-fans are

King has been looking so tired these past 2 weeks + he has now been in a minor car accident. Hope everything is okay with him cause he still hasn’t made a single statement unlike Hyunjin and Seungmin :chick3:

not gonna say anything mean about the girls bc I think they are really young, but I couldn't finish that VCHA MV...

JYP should take a look at his company's past and remember the reasons ppl used to like his girl groups so much.

most attended tours by a K-pop act

1. BTS “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour” (62 dates, 2019) - 1.96M

2. BLACKPINK "Born Pink" (66 dates, 2023) - 1.8M

3. TWICE "Ready to Be" (44 dates, 2023) - 1.1M

TWICE pulling these numbers, but chronically online freaks want you to believe they're over :coffee2:

Dear JYP Entertainment,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the name of the group "VCHA," which is under your management. While I have great respect for JYP Entertainment and the talented artists you have nurtured over the years, I cannot help but share my dissatisfaction and confusion about the choice of this name.

As a fan of your company's artists and music, I understand the importance of a group's name in shaping its identity and impact. Names play a crucial role in capturing the essence of a group and conveying its values and mission to the audience. Unfortunately, the name "VCHA" does not appear to fulfill these essential criteria effectively.

"VCHA" lacks the clarity and resonance that a group name should ideally possess. It leaves many fans, including myself, feeling perplexed and disconnected. The name does not provide insight into the group's identity or the kind of music and content it creates. This lack of clarity can hinder the group's ability to attract a dedicated fanbase and communicate its unique qualities to a broader audience.

Furthermore, a group's name should evoke positive associations and emotions. When I first encountered the name "VCHA," I did not feel a sense of excitement or connection. It left me feeling disappointed, as it did not leave a lasting impression or convey a sense of purpose.

I understand that naming decisions are complex and can be influenced by various factors. However, I believe that the choice of a group's name should prioritize clarity, memorability, and relevance to the group's identity and mission.

I encourage you to reconsider the name "VCHA" and explore options that better reflect the group's personality and musical direction. A well-chosen name can significantly impact the group's success and the strength of its connection with fans.

I am confident that with the right name, the group can more effectively convey its unique qualities, engage a broader audience, and continue to thrive under JYP Entertainment's guidance.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope that my feedback is considered as the group continues its journey in the world of music and entertainment.
