Yeah but then that means you didn't really know the first thing about them beyond having vaguely seen their name somewhere. Kinda defeats the purpose which is why I found it funny.

I was illustrating that I (a non kpop fan) who wasn't in any spaces where kpop was being memtioned was still aware of blackpink because they kinda infiltrated general pop spaces and were talked about as if they were a western pop group. If they were geared more for the western audience I could see them becoming as recongnizable as say for example fifth harmony are, maybe minus Jisoo.

It's cute but why do they always put something under her dresses? She's not even adverse to wearing revealing outfits. The others can have their titties out

I mean YG trademarked the name in 2020 and it had been floating around in YG land for years before that too. I guess they had to justify spending money to file the trademark somehow!

 

Anyway, YG has made a huge strategic error by not already debuting BM before BP ends
