There is no contradiction because you see BTS as making subpar music and think I am not allowed to have musical opinions on anything else, yet you yourself are a fan of someone who is widely also considered to be making subpar music. My only point is that YOU are in no position to be policing anyone else's taste - everyone is allowed to have their opinions. You are free to love her music, I just need you to tone down the hoity toityness as if you are some music critic.

Tae is definitely serving snoozes too but at least they're more to my taste than DO's first mini. I can see myself using Love Me Again, For Us, and to a lesser extent Slow Dancing for a long time. On the other hand, I literally could not remember what any song on DO's first album sounded like immediately after listening to it . And again, I WANTED to like his music so much more because I love his voice - I'm mostly just mad he isn't reaching his full potential lol

Idk I think I’m Gonna Love You is better than anything V has done in this album but music taste is subjective so we can agree to disagree I guess.
And I only mentioned V because he came immediately in my head when I thought about male soloist sales, it wasn’t to compare the two, so there was no room for BTS lashings there I think.

as if BTS is synonymous with artistic excellence we need to get serious. As if BTS, were not drag for years for their lack of good vocals, see Jimin and Jin last efforts, no i can make any opinion as this is a free forum who i stan i ain't entitled to opinionate based on my delusions and my fave. The way you are making a BTS discussion about Selena Gomez is the safest way to evade the discussion

The thing about the hate train that SKZ get's from a lot of Kpop stans, is simply because people simply cannot understand why a group like SKZ are this popular when they make experimental music that doesn't fit their taste, simply as that. Notice whenever SKZ  achieve something, it's always the: "SKZ are the 2nd bg after BTS", like had BTS not done everything else before them, then SKZ would've been the first bg in many of these achievements. SKZ has the it-factor, hence why people can't stop talking about them whether is good or bad and attack them constantly unprovoked. The fact that TXT literally performed on the same night as SKZ with a new English song with Anitta, and yet all the focus was on SKZ. 

Notice also how the bitter NCT stans in here constantly shade SKZ, simply because SKZ did what NCT never could.

Taehyung has horrid taste with everything sans fashion i fear  I’ll make the executive decision to exclude selena from this narrative though, she has more than a few bops under her belt i still listen to until this day… talk about classics! not to mention the smash hit calm down

Well good for them but my question was why couldn’t they choose a good song to perform instead

It makes sense why they would perform it though, since S-Class is their most recent title track and they are way too busy to just debut a new song right now. I don't use S-Class either, but a lot of Stays actually love the song, so I don't really see the problem + it's their best performing song both domestically and globally so far

They should've honestly saved Charmer as a title track for this year instead, like I can't believe that they just wasted it as a b-side last year when it literally screams title track  It was actually supposed to be a title track but they scrapped it and made it a b-side instead for some odd reason. Imagine the gag if they performed it at the VMA's instead

Hm this could work but as a song in the middle of two songs you know? Like not as the opener or closer because of its tempo, but that instrumental Im the chorus could be used as a bridge between it and other songs. Idk, as the first ever big televised award show performance in tje country, I expected some clever structure with the songs chosen carefully to represent the group. Not as some typical stage to promote their latest title track 

 

lemme hope ENHYPEN will carefully choose songs and properly design the set list once they get to perform at a major televised award show in the us soon, I think it will happen as HYBE has 100% taken over now  bang si hyuk you better not let me down.

Considering they’re getting their lashings left and right by some sm sheep bc the company is promoting them better than some other sm acts, they better be renewing. Where has taemin Not been this year? I love him and am looking forward to his solo the most out of all these idols but he’s been everywhere this year and before his comeback even. shinee comeback, onew comeback (and a planned but later canceled 2nd comback, considering), two key comebacks, and taemin comback + rumored minho single all within this year is doing too much. Or maybe its how it should be but comparatively its too much
