Every SM group starts out with a massive fandom, but don’t get actual hits until thier later comebacks. It happen with EXO, Red Velvet, & Aespa.  happiness, MaMa, and Black Mamba weren’t really smash hits out the gate. But Growl, Ice cream Cake, and Next level were Hits. I predict Riize next comeback will be thier commerical smash.

Wolf existed before Growl but I agrih  Even Soshi took 2 songs before they hit the jackpot with GEEsus

It's always like that. Recently there was KCON LA and the 3-day line up was 14 male artists and 8 female artists.

+ Seven currently has 8 versions combined, that’s why it has higher streams right now. But it debuted with 15.99m for two versions only, so he would still have the highest debut overall. (Fun fact though; Seven’s 1st day playlist reach was 72m, slow dancing is 27m. Seven was added on spotify’s biggest playlist TTH while Slow dancing wasn’t even added to This is BTS playlist)

Spotify is so weird because it combines streams from different versions for certain artists and doesn’t combine for other artists. I’ll give an example of my own fave Katy. The One That Got Away is well over a Billion streams if you combine the original with the acoustic version, yet it is separated. Maybe it’s the artists’ team itself who manages this?

SKZ have the same problem with some of their songs having 4 versions such as Double Knot: 

1. OT9
2. OT8
3. Japanese Version
4. English version 

And people wonder why Stray Kids have this many songs, when there's at least 3 versions of every song on their first 6 albums, when in reality JYP should've combined them all 

 

HYBE is smart for combining every version into 1 just like how they did with LE SSERAFIM and their OT6 and OT5 songs etc.
